The Bell is a small village pub, it is the hub in Gt Paxton village. A pub that has been around for many years, 1889 I believe! It is actually the only pub that has survived as once there were three pubs in this small village.
The Bell is now owned by the previous Manager, Rachael Martin (known as Raqi to many). Rachael has a long established history with the pub having worked here since 17. Rachael had a 15 year career with the National Probation Service prior to becoming Manager of The Bell in 2018. Rachael has continued to work here from 17 under all previous landlords.
We still have the well established The Baby Belle bar and permanent marquee outside allows us to host a larger number of events that are hosted by The Bell, but also private functions.
The Bell ethos is to offer high quality food, good beer at reasonable prices.
We have a wonderful chef on board, Sarah Claxton who cooks everything from scratch and her food is tremendous! Check out Trip advisor and Facebook for reviews.
The Bell really is not only at the heart of the village, but in St Neots. If you dont believe me, just come and give us a try! We do not disappoint!
